BECKY REVIEW:
I love all things by M. Robinson but I found myself having a hard time falling in love with the characters in this book.
Creed grew up in the MC life and has not had it easy. A lot of sadness and hardships have come his way. He is struggling to find peace with those hardships and during this time finds comfort in Mia.
Mia is the daughter of the Good Ole Boys and is a spitfire, just like her mother Alex was. Its not easy for her growing up with an overprotective father and uncles, when all she wants to do is live her life. She meets Creed at 9 years old and their friendship blossoms into so much more.
I found Creed to be a bit immature most times and I had a hard time dealing with the age difference between he and Mia, making some of the intimate scenes a bit uncomfortable to read. But don't let that stop you from reading the book. As usual M. delivered the angst like no one else can and leaves us wanting more with an epic cliffhanger. Though I didn't enjoy this book as much as I have her others, I'm very excited for the next book in this series.
TINA'S REVIEW:
I was excited to read Road to Nowhere by M. Robinson, when I started reading I just didn’t connect with the characters from previous books, that I’ve read from her. Everyone can read for themselves and they can decide what they think. Author M. Robinson is a talented author and will always write angst like no one else.
This is about Mia who reminds me of Half-Pint and how regardless of how her dad treated her like a baby, she always gave her two cents in everything. Then we’ve got Creed who was a badass with an attitude, as well some serious baggage that he had to carry along the way. You do get the drama that comes with the storyline as well some sexy scenes. Creed was a character for sure with all the issues he was dealing with, but he always put his family first even though at times he did it to himself. I could see the connection these two had and maybe later on down the line it will be so much more.
I enjoyed seeing other characters from previous books making appearance throughout this book. I look forward to see what happens with these two and the rest of the gang. Yes, there is a cliffhanger at the end and I’m sure M. Robinson will not disappointment in giving us a story.
